At LuxeBeauty Academy, our mission is to eliminate barriers to learning and ensure inclusive education for all. We are dedicated to supporting the academic achievement and employability skills development of both young people and adults. Our Commitment to Inclusive Education

We collaborate with external organizations, parents, and professionals to address the unique needs of each student at LuxeBeauty Academy. Our learner-centered approach ensures that every individual has the opportunity to succeed in their education, training, and future employment. With a variety of in-house services, we encourage all learners to utilize these resources to overcome personal challenges and fully engage in their studies.

Learning Support Services

LuxeBeauty Academy provides tailored learning support for students who self-identify with learning barriers, such as learning difficulties, disabilities, or mental health challenges. Each case is individually assessed to ensure we meet the specific needs of our learners within our support framework.

For students who can provide evidence of their learning barriers, such as a formal assessment or diagnosis, we implement appropriate adjustments. These may include:

  • Extended Time: Additional time for exams and assignments.
  • Assistive Technology: Use of specialized equipment like reader pens or adjustable computers.
  • Support Personnel: Access to readers or scribes during examinations.

We partner with various support organizations to advocate for our students and assist with referrals to local support services, including educational psychologists and mental health professionals.

  • Dyslexia and Dyspraxia
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Asperger Syndrome
  • Mild to Moderate Learning Difficulties

If you believe you need assistance or special adjustments during your application or enrollment process, please inform us as soon as possible. Contact us via:

Additional Support Methods:

  1. Application Form: Complete the application form, tick the relevant boxes, and disclose your learning needs. Early notification allows us to plan appropriate support.
  2. Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) Interview: Discuss your support needs during the IAG interview to ensure we can accommodate your requirements.
  3. Tutor or Programme Manager: Speak with your tutor or programme manager to request a referral for learning support.

All applicants requesting support will be contacted to arrange an initial meeting to discuss their needs and potential support strategies tailored to their circumstances. Depending on the level of support required, we may recommend or refer you to specialized learning or training providers.

Confidentiality

Your privacy is paramount. Information about your disability and support needs will be kept confidential. However, certain adjustments may not be possible without disclosing some information. If you prefer not to share specific details, please let us know so we can discuss alternative support options.

Learner Support Fund

Please note: LuxeBeauty Academy does not offer funding support or free meals. However, we provide comprehensive learning support services to ensure all our students can achieve their academic and professional goals.

Safeguarding and Wellbeing

LuxeBeauty Academy is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment where all learners can thrive. Our safeguarding policies aim to prevent neglect, abuse, bullying, and any form of harm to our students. We maintain strong links with external support services to refer learners in need of specialized assistance.
